Project Overview
Central Equity’s $113.5 million Southbank One project saw the delivery of a 38 level mixed-use development to the vibrant Southbank precinct in 2009.
The tower is located at 180 City Road and comprises 317 residential apartments above a commercial podium consisting of five levels of commercial office space, which now house the corporate headquarters of Central Equity and MCIM. Southbank One also has a recreational area with a swimming pool, gymnasium and BBQ area along with seven levels of basement car-parking.
Stringent planning and scheduling of the development enabled the project to be completed some three months ahead of schedule, despite its large scale nature and the complexity of constructing it within the bustling Southbank area.
Form 700 Scope
Form700’s role entailed all the works involved in building the concrete structure; supplying and erecting formwork; supply and fix reinforcement; supply, pump, place and finish concrete; supply of Form700 Self-Climbing Core Systems and Form700 Self-Climbing Perimeter Safety Screens.
