City Central Tower 1

Project Overview
City central Tower One was the first in the series of buildings being constructed as part of a $799 million redevelopment project undertaken by the Aspen Group. City Central Tower 1 includes approximately 31,000m2 NLA of floor space over 21 floors. The project also included two basement levels.

Form 700 Scope
Form 700 performed the formwork and concrete pumping on this project. Form 700 was also contracted for the supply, erection and operation of Form700 Self-Climbing Core System and Form700 Self-Climbing Perimeter Safety Screens. Form 700’s commitment to the project began in April 2005 and lasted until June 2006

When constructed it was the largest five star Green Star certified commercial office tower in Australia.

The use of chilled beams also reduced the ceiling height. This meant additional floors could be added to Tower 1.
